Rotoring

The Rotortug®  enhances the operational flexibility for operators in general and Captains in particular. The unique position of the thrusters enables a Captain to shift between indirect moden and direct mode without tension lost on the towline at all speeds. This means direct towing with high towline forces at 10 knots with 115% of the bollard pull is posible and indirect towing at zero speed with 70% of the total available bollard pull can be performed.

 

 

 

 

Sidestepping

The sidestepping capabilities of the Rotortug® provides enhanced safety but also makes it possible to perform shiphandling and escort maneuvres which are unique to the Rotortug®.
